We produce a select range of musical products, all of which have been designed to give you lifelong musical enjoyment. But we do not only focus on the musical qualities of our products; in a world more and more obsessed with disposable consumer goods, we pride ourselves on making products of lasting quality and enjoyment.
Many have commented on the fact that we seem to avoid the usual paths of audio companies. We did not, for example, design a DVD player, though such a product would be highly profitable for us. Instead, we designed the absolutely best sounding FM tuner possible. Most companies seem obsessed with giving the market what everyone else gives it – we are much more occupied with making products that make a difference to the owner. Products that will result in endless hours of musical enjoyment, and be highly valued by their owners. Having already reached this goal in the design phase our dedication to perfection is also carried over to the manufacturing phase. Here we combine state of the art manufacturing techniques with classic workmanship, thus creating a line of products of such high quality that we are not afraid of backing it with a 10 year warranty.
Our obsession with perfection goes all the way, and includes our dealers and distributors, where we have selected the very best. What you need to know
Densen offers a 10 year warranty on all amplifiers and sources to the first owner of the unit, and requires the unit to be registered with Densen within 30 days of the purchase. The purchase must be made through an authorized Densen dealer or distributor in order for the Densen unit to be eligable for the warranty program.
The 10 year warranty is for the FIRST owner of a product. People who buy USED Densen equipment do NOT get the warranty, but can have repairs done at the Densen Head Quarter’s for a very reasonable price. (contact us by email at: firstname.lastname@example.org for service quote on used equipment). Please note the extended warranty program is only available when buying from an authorized Densen distributor, reseller or Densens own webshop. The warranty works as follows: When purchasing a new Densen product, you must send in the register your unit within 30 days of purchase using the form below.
The local warranty that is provided by your local dealer/distributor and varies from country to country comes into force first. After this warranty expires, Densen’s 10 year warranty takes over. This is normally between 1 and 3 years depending on the country and local laws.
The warranty is NOT supported through or by our distributors. It is done directly with us at Densen. You must therefore communicate DIRECTLY with the Densen Head Quarters, and for this, we recommend using our e-mail: firstname.lastname@example.org
Our staff will decide if the product needs to be shipped to Denmark or if it can be fixed in your home country by sending you a sparepart. In the cases where it must be shipped to Denmark, we recommend using normal surface mail, as this is secure and cheap. The cost of shipping the product to Denmark must be borne by the owner. The repair, spare parts, and return shipment will be paid by Densen.
People who have bought a used Densen product can get Densen to carry out repairs for them at a fixed price. You can get a price quota by our service department at: email@example.com. If you are unsure about the issue we have an error-finding fee of 500 DKK, which will be subtracted from the final bill if the given offer is accepted. We have most spare parts in stock and we will carry out all repairs relatively quickly. In the unlikely event that we do not have a spare part in stock many years after ceasing production of a product, we will offer the owner compensation – typically in the form of an offer to upgrade to a newer product.
Please note: The warranty do NOT cover parts which are prone to normal wear and tear. This means (but is not limited to) Lasers and CD transports on CD players are NOT covered. Neither are potentiometers, where failure are related to wear and tear or dust, smoke or other contamination of the part.
